Founded by Maestra Celia – After working for decades as a Meastra she has created her own center run by her and her Shipibo family.
Bobinsana is a small center. With the aim of working with people on a personal level. Wherever you’re coming here for healing, learning or because you feel lost. We recognize everyone needs are different, we reflect that in the work we do. We assess what you need and this will determine the type of treatment you’ll receive. Wherever it be taking certain plants, the food we give you, vapor/flower baths, the ayahuasca you drink and the ikaros we sing.
The plants of the jungle offer more healing than ayahuasca alone and our maestros have spent a lifetime learning and dieting with these plants. As powerful as ayahuasca is, it’s made of two plants while the jungles offers thousands. Join us and discover the true healing power and wisdom of the Amazon.
All ceremonies are led by Celia and Lucho and with the assistance of the family. The maestros will sing ikaros throughout the ceremony and everyone that stays with us will be worked with 1 on 1 during the ceremony and will be sung their own personal ikaros.
One of the family will be present during the ceremony who has not drunken ayahuasca. Their role will be to assist you to the bathroom or if you need to step outside.
Everyone will be provided with a mattress, pillow, blanket, bucket and water. Nobody is ever left alone after taking ayahuasca and if for whatever reason you need to step out of ceremony, you will be looked after.
A kind and sweet soul, a matriarch, and mother to all. Celia is a true healer that sings hauntingly beautiful ikaros and touches every soul she meets.
At 15 years old Celia’s grandfather, an ancient Shipibo shaman, taught her how to work with the plant medicines. She learnt to heal both common and very rare symptoms. She would drink ayahuasca to receive visions to diagnose and cure those who came to her. After spending a lifetime helping people all over the world she has opened up her own center with her family.
A strong and humble man, Luis empowers people through his kind nature and sense of humor. A true master of the plants, he sings powerful ikaros with compassion for all.
Luis grew up on the ucayali river, home of the shipibo. At 20 years old he felt the calling of the plants. He went deep into the jungle, alone, for 6 months to do his first dieta. In this time he formed a strong relationship with the plants he dieted and how to use them to heal. He would contuine to do this for many years. He has now been working with plant medicine for 47 years. Mostly working within his local community in Pucallpa.
We are not just here to serve you ayahuasca and give you visions. In certain circumstances we will tell you not to drink if we don't think it will be good for you. We heal on every level, with many different plants, treatments, ceremonies and ikaros.
Bobinsana center is 100% family owned and by supporting our center you're directly supporting the lives of our Shipibo family and keeping our traditions alive.
Everyone person is different and its why we treat our visitors uniquely and plan your stay around what you need. This changes the food, plants, treatments and how we work with you in ceremony.
We try to keep prices low to make plant medicine accessible to people. However if you're still struggling with our prices please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Located in the Amazon jungle life at the center is peaceful and basic. We’re without electric and running water and we don’t plan on changing. We enjoy the simple life. We wash from a natural spring, have compostable toilets, grow food, talk, play music and share stories together under the stars.
